PPAP & Core Tools Competency Survey
Automotive quality standards require more than documented processes — they require competent people. Under ISO/TS 16949, organisations must ensure that “personnel performing work affecting conformity to product requirements are competent on the basis of appropriate education, training, skills, and experience.”
To support this requirement, the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) has developed a free online survey designed to assess foundational knowledge of the automotive Core Tools, including:
- Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
- Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
- Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
- Measurement System Analysis (MSA)
- Statistical Process Control (SPC)
The survey helps identify knowledge gaps and highlights where additional training may be required to meet current PPAP and quality system expectations.
If you are involved in design, manufacturing, quality, or supplier management, this assessment provides a quick and practical way to evaluate your readiness against industry standards.
Take the survey today to see if you’re up to speed with the latest PPAP requirements.
